     Martha Cooper was born in Langley, Derbyshire, circa 1823, calculated from 1851 Census Entry.

     Martha Cooper was married to Isaac James Tipper, son of John Tipper and Elizabeth Hoose, on Monday, 16 October 1848 at St. Alkmund, Duffield, Derbyshire.1

          The 1851 U.K.Census listed her as the Wife of the Head of Household - James Tipper, at Harlaston, Staffordshire, who is recorded as - James Tipper Head Mar. 25 Ag. Lab. DBY. Longford.2
     Martha's entry for this Census was recorded as Marther Tipper Wife Mar. 28 --- DBY. Langley.2

          The 1861 U.K.Census listed her as the Wife of the Head of Household - James Tipper, at Catholme Lane, Barton under Needwood, Staffordshire, who is recorded as - James Tipper Head Mar. 36 Ag. Labourer DBY. Longford.3
     Martha's entry for this Census was recorded as Martha Tipper Wife Mar. 33 --- DBY. Ashbourne.3

     Martha died in 1865, in Staffordshire, she was survived by her husband, James. Her Death was Registered at the Burton on Trent Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1865.4

      It is my intention to attempt to link ALL persons with the Surname of TIPPER and their families, originating in North Staffordshire and Derbyshire; Martha Cooper is entered into the project as part of this mini-One Name Study.5
