     James died on Sunday, 19 July 1863 in 24 Elmore Street, Islington, London. He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth.
     The details from the Death Certificate are - James Pattison; Compositor; died on 19 July 1863 at 24 Elmore Street, Islington, Middlesex, aged 48 years. Cause of Death - Bronchocele Apnoea. Informant - Mary Elizabeth Pattison, daughter.8
     

     He was buried in Abney Park Cemetery, Islington on Thursday, 23 July 1863.9
