     Gertrude Lear, daughter of Isaac Lear and Emma Bull, was born in Normacott, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, in 1890.


          The U.K.Census of 5 April 1891 listed her as a Grand daughter of the Head of Household - Job Bull, at 46 Meir Hay Road, Longton, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, who is recorded as -
     Job Bull     Head     Married     51     Coal Collier     STS. Cheadle.1
     Gertrude's entry for the 1891 Census was recorded as -
          Gertrude Lear     Grand Daughter     1     ---     STS. Normacott.2

     The 1901 U.K.Census  listed her as a daughter of the Head of Household - Isaac Lear, at 46 Meir Hay Road, Longton, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, who is recorded as -
          Isaac Lear     Head     Married     41     Labourer for Brick & Pipe maker     STS. Longton.3
     Gertrude's entry for the 1901 Census was recorded as -
          Gertrude Lear     Daughter     10     ---     STS. Longton.3
