The Late Mrs. A. E. BULL.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Amy Eleanor Bull, wife of Mr. H. B. Bull (John), of the Signal Station, Rottnest Island, took place in the Methodist portion of the Fremantle Cemetery yesterday afternoon.
The Rev. B. K Saggers officiated at the graveside. The late Mrs. Bull was born at Eastham London, England, and resided in Western Australia for 22 years. She lived at Fremantle and Rottnest Island most of that period. For some time she was an active worker on the social committee of the East Fremantle Football Club, and her genial disposition won for her the affection of all with, whom she came in contact. Mrs. Bull suffered ill-health for the past ten years. She leaves a husband, a Son and a Daughter to mourn their loss. The chief mourners were Messrs. H. B. Bull (widower), Harold Bull (son) and Mrs. E. Hoyles (sister). The pall-bearers were Mr. VT. H. Eitson, M.L.O. (East Fremantle Football Club, Captain C. H. Nicholas (Harbour Master), and Mr. J. R. Broadfoot. Mechanical Engineer (Fremantle Harbour Trust), Captain W. B. Clack and Captain H. S. Steer (Pilot Service), Messrs. E. Ray (Signal Station), F. Sweetman (s.s. Lady Forrest), C. Fletcher (s.s. Ivanhoe), D. Lukey (Wembley Athletic Club) and J. W. Marshall.

FUNERAL NOTICE.
BULL.-The Friends of Mr. H. B. Bull (John) of Rottnest Island Signal Station, are respectfully informed that the remains of his late dearly beloved wife, Amy Eleanor, will be interred in the Methodist portion of the Fremantle Cemetery.
The Funeral will leave Messrs. Arthur E. Davies and Company's Private Mortuary, 81 Market Street, Fremantle, TO-MORROW (Monday) MORNING, at 11.30 o'clock, arriving at the Cemetery at 11.50.9,10

     Kenneth Francis Bull, son of Christopher James Bull and Margaret Lena Seaton, was born in 1927.1


     Kenneth died on Saturday, 10 June 1944, in Normandy, France. The Allied offensive in north-western Europe began with the Normandy landings of 6 June 1944. Ranville was the first village to be liberated in France when the bridge over the Caen canal was captured intact in the early hours of 6 June by troops of the 6th Airborne Division, who landed nearby by parachute and glider. Many of the division's casualties are buried in Ranville War Cemetery and the adjoining churchyard. Kenneth was 18 years old and was a member 13th(2/4th Bn. The South Lancashire Regiment) Bn. and part of the Parachute Regiment A.A.C..1

     He was buried in Ranville War Cemetery in June 1944.
