     Humphrey Holloway, son of William Holloway and Elizabeth Austin, died in February 1805, in Osliston, Derbyshire,"aged about 63 years", he was survived by his wife Maria Hurst.

     He was buried in St. Chad's Church, Longford on Tuesday, 5 February 1805.2

     He was Baptised on Tuesday, 15 June 1784 in St. Chad's Church, Longford, Derbyshire .1
     

     John Holloway, son of George Holloway and Rebecca Yates, was married to Ann Hind, daughter of Daniel Hind and Mary Wagstaff, on Monday, 30 June 1806 at Church of St. Alkmund, Derby, Derbyshire.
     Church of St. Alkmund Marriage Register - "John Holloway and Ann Hind, Married by Banns 14, 18 & 25 June 1806. Witnessed by Wm. Wright and John Marshall."2

     John Holloway was left a Widower on the death of his wife, Ann after 9 December 1806.

     John Holloway, son of George Holloway and Rebecca Yates, was married to Elizabeth Hind, daughter of Daniel Hind and Mary Wagstaff, on Monday, 26 October 1807 at St. Wilfred's Church, Egginton, Derbyshire.
     St. Wilfred's Church Marriage Register - "John Holloway, widower of Hollington in the Parish of Longford and Elizabeth Hind of the Parish of Egginton were Married By Licence."2

          John Holloway was a Witness of the Signatures at the Marriage of John Bull and Ann Holloway on 6 April 1813 in St. Chad's Church, Longford, Derbyshire,

     John Holloway, son of George Holloway and Rebecca Yates, died on Monday, 25 April 1870, in Hollington, Derbyshire,"#347 - Brailsford, Derbys. age 86, Farmer, Died of Natural Decay, Informant - x the mark of Mary Barker, present at the Death, of Hollington, on 28 Apr.1870. (copy of cert. held by mfj.)" John Holloway was buried in St. Chad's Church, Longford, Derbyshire, on Saturday, 30 April 1870.

MONUMENTAL INSCRIPTION:
/ In affectionate remembrance / of the late / JOHN HOLLOWAY / of Hollington / who died April 25 1870 / aged 86 years. / Also / ELIZABETH his wife / who died May 24 1866. / aged 84 years. (photograph taken by mfj.)8

     Probate for John's Estate was granted on 11 October 1870 at Derby.
     Probate Register Entry - " The Will of John Holloway of Longford in the County of Derby, Labourer, deceased who died on 25 April 1870 at Hollington aforesaid was proved at Derby by the oaths of Thomas Wright of Hollington
     Effects under £20."9

     She was buried in St. Chad's Church, Longford on Saturday, 26 May 1866.
