     Louisa Bregazzi, daughter of Samuel Bregazzi and Mary Renn, was married to John Siddall on Saturday, 26 November 1836 at St. Werburgh's Church, Derby, Derbyshire.
     St. Werburgh's Church Marriage Register - "John Siddall, Artist of this Parish, Widower & Louisa Bregazzi of this Parish, Spinster. By Banns. Witnessed by John Bregazzi & Georgiana Bregazzi."2

          The U.K.Census of 6 June 1841 listed her in the Household of John Siddall, at King Street, Westminster St.James, London, who is listed as -
     John Siddall     35     Artist     No - (Not Born in this County.)3
     Louisa's entry for the 1841 Census was recorded as -
          Louisa Siddall     25     ---     No - (Not Born in this County.)3

     The 1851 U.K.Census  listed her as a daughter of the Head of Household - Mary Bregazzi, at 2 Cheapside, Derby, Derbyshire, who is recorded as -
          Mary Bregazzi     Head     Widow     66     Gilder     DBY. Weston.4
     Louisa's entry for the 1851 Census was recorded as -
          Louisa Siddall     Wife     Married     35     ---     DBY. Derby.4

     The 1861 U.K.Census listed her as the Wife of the Head of Household - John Siddall, at 12 Arthur Street, Derby, Derbyshire, who is recorded as -
          John Siddall     Head     Married     58     Artist (Portraiture)     DBY. Alfreton.5
     Louisa's entry for the 1861 Census was recorded as -
          Louisa Siddall     Wife     Married     46     ---     DBY. Derby.5

     Louisa Siddall, daughter of Samuel Bregazzi and Mary Renn, died in 1865 in Derby, Derbyshire, her Death was Registered at the Derby Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Qtr. of 1865, She was survived by her husband, John.6

John Siddall1

     John Siddall was born in Alfreton, Derbyshire, in 1803.1


     It should be noted that although there are two persons named John SIDDALL, who appear in the early 19c Census Returns, they should NOT be be confused.
     The John Siddall in this entry was stated to have been born in c1803 in Alfreton which is a small town halfway between Derby to the South and Chesterfield in the North of the County.
     The other John Siddal who was stated to have been born c1806 in Curber - the son of Abraham and Ann Siddall and a brother of Daniel. Curber is a small village to the West of Chesterfield.
     This John appears on Censuses with his wife Sarah and two daughters at Curber in the North of Derbyshire County.
     Whilst there is currently no apparent connection with the two families - it is certain that the two John Siddalls are from different families.2

     John Siddall was married to Louisa Bregazzi, daughter of Samuel Bregazzi and Mary Renn, on Saturday, 26 November 1836 at St. Werburgh's Church, Derby, Derbyshire.

     The U.K.Census of 30 March 1851 listed him as a Son in Law of the Head of Household - Mary Bregazzi, at 2 Cheapside, Derby, Derbyshire, who is recorded as -

     John's entry for the 1851 Census was recorded as -
          John Siddall     Son in Law     Married     47     Artist     DBY. Alfreton.5

          In the 1861 U.K.Census, held on Sunday, 7 April 1861, John was recorded as the Head of the Household at 12 Arthur Street, Derby, Derbyshire, also in the Household were Louisa Siddall,

     John Siddall was left a Widower on the Death of his wife, Louisa, whose Death was Registered in the Derby Registration District, in the Jan-Feb-Mar Qtr. of 1865.7

     In the U.K.Census of 2 April 1871, John was recorded as residing at 13 Cambridge Terrace, Conchan, Douglas, Isle of Man.
