John Waltho

     John Waltho, son of Samuel Waltho and Ann Perry, was born in Haughton, Staffordshire, in 1839, entered from 1861 Census details.


     The 1861 U.K.Census  listed him as a son of the Head of Household - Samuel Waltho, at 112 Stafford Street, Walsall, Staffordshire, who is recorded as -
          Samuel Walters     Head     Married     52     Ag.labourer     STS. Hixon.1
     John's entry for the 1861 Census was recorded as -
          John Walters     Son     22     Miner     STS. Haughton.1

     Suddenly Jean & I are no longer so sure we have got this part of the tree right. If the John Waltho above was born in 1839 it casts doubt as Samuel WALTHO did not marry Ann PERRY until 1843 (from memory). We think we have just found the death of Ann so that may help eventually.2
