     Gwenda May Tailby was married to Reginald Ward-Close between April 1949 and June 1949 at Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Nottingham 3c 760.2

     They both worked at Players cigarette factory in Nottingham and lived near there too I believe. Gwenda liked to think she was a cut above and the family laugh is still used as she said one day, 'We took us tea' when she was trying to show off!


     Gwenda May Ward-Close nee Tailby, daughter of Albert Edward Tailby and Kate Katherine Shardlow, died in April 2006 in Lincolnshire, her Death was Registered at the Lincoln Register Office in the April of 2006.3
