Ann Chadbourn was born in Ashby, Leicestershire, in 1841.2

In the U.K.Census of 30 March 1851, Ann was recorded as residing at Union Workhouse, Loughborough Road, Ashby, Leicestershire.

Ann's entry for the 1881 Census was recorded as -
Ann Bull     Wife     Married     40     ---     LEI. Ashby (Lunatic, Not from Birth.)7
Ann's entry in the 1881 Census is 'struck through', I make the assumption that she was not well and was probably actually away from home. It should be noted that in the 1891 Census there is a note under her husband's entry that says 'wife away'. I have not been able to locate a recording of her Death from 1891 onwards. It is very probable that she was at Pastures Hospital in Mickleover, further research here might be productive...
