Both Signed, Witnessed by Gladys Tipper and Fred Reynolds."1,2

     In the U.K.Census of 2 April 1911, Albert was recorded as residing at Fore Street, Mevagissey, Cornwall.
     Albert's listing is -
     Albert Coomer     Lodger     20     Single     Pianist     STS. Stoke on Trent (in the household of Ellen Mills, a widow and her daughter).3
     Albert joined the Royal Fusiliers on 04.09.1914 at the outbreak of WW1 and served in France from 1915. On attestation he gave his occupation as Clerk, his address 17 Haywood Street, Shelton, and his wife's name as "Cissie" of 106 Richmond Street. He was wounded in 1916 and spent 250 days in hospital before being invalided out in 1917 after amputation of his left leg. He received a pension.4

     Albert E. Coomer died in 1926 in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, his Death was Registered at the Stoke on Trent Register Office in the Jul-Aug-Sep Quarter of 1926, He was survived by his wife, Annie.5

     He was Baptised on Sunday, 10 July 1904 in St. Anne's Church, Derby, Derbyshire .
     St. Anne's Church Baptismal Register Entry - "James, son of James & Daisy Shardlow of 8 Little Watson Street, Blacksmith. Born 14 June 1904."3

     The 1911 U.K.Census  listed him as a son of the Head of Household - James Shardlow, at 45 Nuns Street, Derby, Derbyshire, who is recorded as -
          James Shardlow     Head     29     Married     Blacksmith (General)     NTT. Nottingham.4
     James's entry for the 1911 Census was recorded as -
          James Shardlow     7     Son     ---     DBY. Derby.4

     James Shardlow was married to Sarah Clarke on Saturday, 28 January 1928 at Holy Trinity Church, Derby, Derbyshire, James Shardlow, 23, Bachelor, Blacksmith of 14 Carrington Street, son of James Shardlow, Blacksmith & Sarah Clarke, 25, Spinster of 65 Liversage Street, daughter of Herbert Clarke, Dealer. By Banns. Witnessed by F Wade & H Clarke.5

     James Shardlow was employed as Blacksmith.6

     James Shardlow, son of James Shardlow and Daisy Celia Ackrill, died on Tuesday, 25 August 1970.7
     Probate for his Estate was granted on 29 September 1970 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Of James Shardlow of 37 Lewis Street, Derby, Effects = £2,290.1
