Married in the Church after Banns. In the presence of G William Ford and Annie Ford. Vicar - J H Askwith.2,3

     Arthur and Gertrude subsequently moved to 18 Tennyson Street in Kirkby in Ashfield.3


     Gertrude Appleby was left a Widow at the age of 38, on the death of her husband, Arthur on 1 March 1929 in the Nottingham General Hospital, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.4,3

     Gertrude died on Wednesday, 11 April 1979 in 20 Greenwood Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire..
