He was Sentanced to 7 years Imprisonment and Transported to Tasmania. He was held on the Prison Hulk 'Elphinstone' and departed Sheerness on 10 April 1842 arriving in Tasmania on 28 July 1842.
Having served his Penal Servitude, he is recorded as departing Launceston, Tasmania on the 'Shamrock' (a ferry) for Melbourne on 20 May 1850.3
