Reuben Matthew Tipper, son of George Tipper and Elizabeth Elton, was married to Eliza Miller in Surrey in 1864.
Their Marriage was recorded in the Bermondsey Registration District in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1864.5
I can only speculate that this Marriage is correct as it is the only one registered between a Reuben and Eliza between 1861 and 1865. To back this up there is an Eliza Miller listed on the 1861 Census at Hatton, which is only a short distance from where Reuben was in 1861. It is therefore possible that they knew each other.6

It is therefore possible that they knew each other.6
Reuben Matthew Tipper was left a Widower on the Death of his wife, Eliza, whose Death was Registered in the Stoke on Trent Registration District, in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1865.7

Elizabeth Bailey emigrated to Australia, travelling on vessel "Flying Cloud" and arrived at Maryborough, Queensland, in 1870.

I note that during the family's probable time back in England, William's father - Barnabas Bailey, died. It would be nice to speculate that William would have been able to attend the funeral, as almost certainly he and Elizabeth would have visited their Birth villages at sometime.8
