St. Michael & All Angels Church Marriage Register Entry - "Thomas Tipper married Jane Frost (possibly on her 33rd. Birthday)."1,2

Jane Tipper nee Frost died in March 1704.

She was buried in St. Michael & All Angels Church, Kniveton on Saturday, 29 March 1704.1

There were 2 Jane FROSTs, who were Baptised at Kniveton.
1.          On 7 October 1638, Jane Frost, daughter of Roger Froste, was Baptised
2.          On 18 April 1631 Jane Frost, daughter of Francis Froste and Jane Bembridge, who were Married at Kniveton on 6 April 1619.
(For the purpose of this Tree, (2) has been assumed - a) there is continuity of the name Jane, and b) the attraction of a link to the to the numerous Bembridge family dating back to the 1500's in Thorpe; against this, the 1638 birth in (1) makes more sense in relation to the apparent 1640's birth of Jane's husband Thomas.)3

Jane Frost is entered into the Project as part of a One Name Study,
It is our intention to attempt to link ALL persons with the Surname of TIPPER and their families,
