     Frances Mary Bull was left a Widow at the age of 59, on the death of her husband, William on 30 December 1924 in Grove Road Crossing, Retford, Nottinghamshire.²

     Frances died on 11 January 1944,Meadow House, Church Laneham, Nottinghamshire, of Broncho Pneumonia and Influenza. Her Death was Registered at the East Retford Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1944.⁹ She was buried on 14 January 1944 in Ordsall Churchyard, Nottinghamshire.
     Obituary was printed in Retford, Gainsborough & Worksop Times, on 21 January 1944; says that Frances died at Church Laneham on "the previous Monday and the funeral was on Friday. She was laid to rest in the same grave as her husband in the Ordsall Churchyard". No cause of death was given but her age was 78.
