     William Tipper was a Beneficiary of the Will of Richard Tipper written on 5 December 1737;      Richard Tipper, Husbandman of Cheadle wrote this Will and signed with his mark. (Executors were William Tipper and John Holmes).
     He bequethed as follows:
- "to my son William and my daughter Elizabeth - enough to make them up with what I have already given them to the value of £10 equally apiece";
- "to my son Daniel - the money due upon Mr Challoner's Bond";
- "to my son Richard, possession of the house, paying £5 to the estate a year after his mother Mary's death";
- "to my dearly beloved wife Mary, the use of the house and chattels for life";
- "the residue of the estate to be divided equally between my son William Tipper, my daughter Elizabeth Chapman, my son Daniel Tipper and George Baddeley's daughter Mary".4

     William Tipper, son of Richard Tipper and Mary, died before 1784,"No Burial has been located for this William Tipper", he was survived by his wife Mary Tipper.5
