     St. Peter's Church Marriage Register Entry - "Elizabeth Tipper, a Minor, Spinster of Hanley, daughter of Walter Tipper a Cordwainer was Married to Edwin Keates, a Bachelor of Full Age, a Bricklayer of Hanley, son of Richared Keates. He Signed and she Marked. Witnessed by Mary Ann Thorley and William Shufflebottom."1,2
