     Herbert Stephen Codman was left a Widower at the age of 29, on the death of his wife, Gertrude on 17 November 1910 in 9 Grange Street, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire.
     In between 1914 and 1920 Herbert Stephen Codman served with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1

     Frederick John Codman, son of Herbert Stephen Codman and Gertrude Hunt, died in 1980, in Llandudno, Caernarvonshire, Wales, he was survived by his wife Annie Codman.1

     My Uncle Jack served with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers during W.W.2. also was a member of the R.W.F. Old Comrades Associaton. Uncle Jack & Auntie Anne celebrated Golden Wedding anniversary in 1978. He is interred in the family plot at St. Tudnos cemetery on the Great Orme.1
