     A Google search shows that "the Nitrate Railway Company" was established in South America in the 19C. It can be seen that it was the matter of some concern to H.M. Government in the 1890s and later on. It is not yet established how George Tipper was actually involved in this Company.¹¹

     George Tipper died in 1913 in Middlesex,
George's Death was Registered at the Willesden Register Office in the Jul-Aug-Sep Quarter of 1913, aged 73. He was survived by his wife, Marian.¹²

Administration of the Personal Estate of the Reverand John Gore Tipper late of Dover in the County of Kent, Chaplain of Her Majesty's Prison at Dover who died 5 March 1888 at 13 Harold Terrace, Dover was granted at the Principal Registry to Dora Louisa Plaford (Wife of Timothy Gibson Plaford) of Nemoure Road, Acton in the County of Middlesex the Daughter and one of the Next of Kin.⁷
