     Ralph Tipper, along with his brother Harry, petitioned for US naturalisation on 29.10.1914 Seattle Washington District Court (image of Naturalisation Index, Ancestry); his Declaration of Intention lists him as aged 52, a Farmer, white skin, fair complexion, 5' 11", 148 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes, born Liverpool 10.02.1862, arrived Seattle 15.05.1913 on the vessel Princess Victoria, residing 489-West, 60th Street, Seattle. The Declaration inter-alia requires him to state that he renounces allegiance to George V, King of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, that he is not an Anarchist or Polygamist, nor does he believe in the practice of polygamy! The Declaration of his brother Ralph is adjoining - both appear to have understated their age.

     Ralph Tipper was R. Tipper aged "59" born England, single, occupation Fitting in a Shop Yard, living in Ward 5, Precinct 87, Tacoma City, Washington with Harry in 1920.

     Ralph Tipper, son of Ralph Tipper and Emma Harris, died,"Ralph Tipper died on 07 January 1934 in North Vancouver, aged 77."11

     Robert Harris Tipper, son of Ralph Tipper and Emma Harris, died in 1888 in Lancashire, his Death was Registered at the West Derby Register Office in the Oct-Nov-Dec Quarter of 1888, He was survived by his wife, Mary.7

     He was buried in St. Mary's Church, Bootle on Monday, 24 December 1888.

     1888 Mary probably gave birth to a son George Beattie Tipper in the same quarter, who died nine months later - hard times!;
1891 Mary Jane not yet found on Census; her daughters are living with their Beattie grandparents in Liverpool;
1893 ?= Mary Jane married Q1 West Derby to John Landy, although there is no entry for a Mary Jane Tipper on this date in Ancestry Lancashire Marriages, which may indicate that it is possibly a Registry Office re-marriage.9
