     Their Marriage was recorded in the Derby Registration District in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1856.2      Thomas Beresford was a variously recorded as a Builder and Monumental Mason, he and Sarah had 10 children including Thomas born in 1863.
The family moved around the Midlands where no doubt his work as a Mason required it. In 1861 they were in Coventry, in 1871 - Lichfield, from 1881 to 1901 they lived in Nottingham.3
