     Emma Tipper nee Roberts was left a Widow on the death of her husband, Herbert on 10 May 1937 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, Canada.8,2      Emma kept in touch with her husband's brother John's wife Lizzy even after Herbert's death. She wrote from an address in Loydminster, Saskatchewan until 1955. Lizzy wrote to tell Emma of John's Death in 1955 but received no reply. The family assumed that Emma had also died.9
