     In about 1945 Clara lived in Guildford Road, Birkdale, Southport, Lancashire, with her second husband and 3 stepchildren.12

     Clara Fryer, daughter of Edward Suffolk and Clara Waltho, died in 1946 in Lancashire, her Death was Registered at the Ormskirk Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1946,"Clara had been a patient in Rufford New Hall, Ormskirk where she had been suffering from T.B.."13 Clara Fryer was buried in Birkdale Cemetery, Southport, Lancashire.12

          Edward Suffolk     Son     8     STS. Walsall.3      In 1911, Edward was training in Cork, Ireland.

     Edward died on Monday, 26 October 1914 near Zandvoorte, Ypres, Belgium, at age 21, the official date on his Death Certificate is the 7th November but the Battalion was wiped out on 26 October which we believe is the more accurate date, although news took about 10 days to get through.2
     He was buried in Zandvoorte.4      Red Cross Letters of attempt to identify Edward Suffolk by fellow soldiers.

     He was buried in Witton Cemetery, Aston.2
