     John McIntyre, son of Alexander McIntyre, died in 1881 in Staffordshire, his Death was Registered at the Burton Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter (very probably at the same time as his son, John Douglas!) of 1881, He was survived by his wife, Ann.4

     Eliza Tipper, daughter of John Tipper and Lydia Higgin, died in 1854 in Tutbury, Staffordshire, her Death was Registered at the Burton Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1854.3      Fatal epidemics were commomplace among the children of the Tutbury Mill families; the winter of 1854 appears to have been particularly awful - the St. Mary's Tutbury Burial Register shows thirteen deaths of children aged between one and ten years in just a nine week period from 3 March 1854; Emma and Eliza are not included, and presumably did not receive a C of E Burial.4

     Sarah Tipper, daughter of John Tipper and Lydia Higgin, was born in Tutbury, Staffordshire, in 1854, her Birth was Registered at the Burton Register Office in the Oct-Nov-Dec Quarter of 1854.1

     Sarah Tipper has not been located in the UK Census of 6 April 1861.2

     The 1871 U.K.Census  listed her as a daughter of the Head of Household - Lydia Tipper, at 1 Old Hall Street, Macclesfield, Cheshire, who is recorded as -
          Lydia Tipper     Head     Widow     50     House Keeper     STS. Tutbury.3
     Sarah's entry for the 1871 Census was recorded as -
          Sarah Tipper     Daughter     ---     16     Cotton Weaver     STS. Tutbury.3

     Sarah Tipper, daughter of John Tipper and Lydia Higgin, was married to Jackson Simpson in Prestbury, Cheshire, on Monday, 10 June 1872.
     Their Marriage was recorded in the Macclesfield Registration District in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1872.4

     Sarah Simpson, daughter of John Tipper and Lydia Higgin, died in 1876 in Cheshire, her Death was Registered at the Macclesfield Register Office in the Oct-Nov-Dec Quarter of 1876.5
