Alfred Cecil Hood

     He joined the Royal Marines. Served in WW1 at Jutland in HMS Champion, and aboard HMS Superb from 1916 until the end of the war. Served on HMS Marlborough and then up at Ganges. Returned from Shanghai and was at RMO until WW2. First married to Rosalina and lived at 109, George Lane, LONDON SE13. Commissioned to RME. Promoted to rank of Major and to Corps Paymaster until he retired from the Marines and continued to work as an accountant.1


     Alfred Cecil Hood was married to Rosalie Maud Boon in London in 1928.
     Their Marriage was recorded in the Camberwell Registration District in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1928.2

     Alfred Cecil Hood was married to Annie Elizabeth Parton on Wednesday, 24 March 1948 at Chatham, Kent.3

     Alfred Cecil Hood died on Friday, 14 January 1977, in Trimley St. Mary, Felixstowe, Suffolk, he was survived by his wife Annie Elizabeth Hood.4
