Alice Pritchard had looked after Alice Louisa Suffolk following the death of her mother in childbirth, (On the emigration record Alice Louisa Suffolk travelled as Alice Pritchard, Child age 2.)4
After her arrival in Toronto, she became known as Alice Louisa Temple, as Amelia & Hubert Temple became her guardians. Alice Louisa Suffolk was usually known as Little Alice.
     Alice Louisa Suffolk was adopted. Hubert Vivian Temple and Amelia Temple nee Pritchard were the adopting parents.

     Samuel Hardy, son of William Hardy and Mary A., was married to Ada Bull, daughter of George Bull and Elizabeth Hough, on Thursday, 15 October 1896 at Christchurch, Long Lane, Derbyshire.
     Christchurch Marriage Register - "Entry #51 - Samuel Hardy, Bachelor, Labourer of Foston, son of Wm. Hardy, deceased and Ada Bull, Spinster of Longlane, daughter of George Bull, Labourer. Witnessed by William Bull."3
