     Evelyn's entry for the U.K. 1939 Registration for England & Wales was recorded as -
          Evelyn Grace Smart;     DoB - 19 October 1906     Female;     Unpaid Domestic Duties     Married.6

     Evelyn Grace Smart and Thomas Arthur Smart moved to 88 Cheltenham Road, Gloucester in 1942 when Thomas took a job at Rotol in Churchdown. Rotol made propellers for aircraft and was fundamental to the war effort. He continued to be employed by the Dowty Group, who took Rotol over, until his retirement.7

     Evelyn Grace Smart, daughter of William Rose and Ethel Stone, died in 1980 in Coney Hill Hospital, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, her Death was Registered at the Gloucester Register Office in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1980, She was survived by her husband, Thomas.8
