     St. Michael's Church Marriage Register - "Entry #317 - Banns of Marriage between Antony Baily and Saha Parker both of this Parish were published on 23 & 30 of June & on the 7 July 1765.
     Antony Baily of this Parish and Sarah Parker of this Parish were Married in this Church by Banns this 8th Day of July in the Year of One Thousand Seven Hundred and sixty five by me John Middleton, Minister.
     Both Antony and Sarah signed with their X Marks and were Witnessed by Thos. Dawson and Thos. Haldean."2

     Anthony Bailey was left a Widower at the age of 63, on the death of his wife, Sarah in March 1802 in Fradswell, Staffordshire.
