     This is the last will and testament of one John Bull of Wootton Parkside in the Parish of Ellaston and County of Stafford. First, I will and direct that all my just debts funeral expenses and the cost proving this my will be paid as soon as may be after my decease. Then I give, will, direct and bequeath unto my beloved wife Ellen Bull all cows, calves, stirks (A heifer or bullock, especially between one and two years old.) and all and every other cattle and all fowls, and horses, Carts, farming implements and all and every other implement of whatever kind and wheresoever it may be at the time of my decease belonging to me for the term of her natural life. I also give, will, devise and bequeath all my household furniture, plate, linen, wearing apparel and all and every other piece furniture that I may be possessed of unto my dear wife for the use and benefit for the term of her natural life. On and after the decease of my said wife I will and direct that the whole of the live and dead stock with the household furniture and other effects remaining at the time of my said dear wife decease shall be valued by one or more persons as may be agreed upon by my sons and daughters surviving my said dear wife such persons or person to be chosen by my said then surviving children.
