          In the 1881 U.K.Census, held on Sunday, 3 April 1881, Ann was recorded as the Head of the Household at 73 Napier Street, Burton Extra, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, also in the Household were William Rollins and Lydia Rollins,

     Their Marriage was recorded in the St.Pancras Registration District in the Jul-Aug-Sep Quarter of 1889.11

     Ann Worrall, daughter of William Tipper and Ann Shelly, died in 1919 in St. Pancras, London, her Death was Registered at the St.Pancras Register Office in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1919.12

     It is my opinion that the following Marriage details are what 'actually took place'. The entry recorded in FreeBMD shows that a 'George' Tipper was Married to Emma 'Forister'.
I have also used the 'FORRESTER' spelling of their surname in identifying the family although the spelling does vary in several documents. In the transcriptions I have entered as spelled.1

     Emma Forrester, daughter of John Forrester and Dorothy Hains, was married to John Tipper, son of George Tipper and Dorothy Hammersley, on Saturday, 15 September 1838 at St. Giles' Church, Cheadle, Staffordshire.
     St. Giles' Church Marriage Register - "John Tipper, a Bachelor of Full Age, a Wire Drawer of Oakamoor, son of George Tipper, an Overlooker at a Brass Works was Married to Emma Forister, a Spinster of Full Age of Old Furnace, daughter of John Forister, a Wire Drawer. Witnessed by William Tipper."2,3,4

          The U.K.Census of 6 June 1841 listed her in the Household of John Forrester, at Old Furnace, Cheadle, Staffordshire, who is listed as -
     John Forrester     65     Farmer     Yes (Born in this County.)5
     Emma's entry for the 1841 Census was recorded as -
          Emma Tipper     25     ---     Yes (Born in this County.)5

     Emma Tipper was left a Widow on the Death of her husband, John, whose Death was Registered in the Cheadle Registration District, in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1842.6,7

     The 1851 U.K.Census  listed her as a daughter of the Head of Household - John Forrester, at Old Furnace, Cheadle, Staffordshire, who is recorded as -
