     Sam Askey, son of Isaac Askey, was married to Ada Tipper, daughter of James Tipper and Emily Collins, on Sunday, 20 April 1902 at St. Werburgh's Church, Hanbury, Staffordshire.
     St. Werburgh's Church Marriage Register Entry - "Ada Tipper, 26, daughter of James Tipper and Sam Askey, 22, Farm Labourer, son of Isaac Askey, Labourer."1,2

          In the 1911 U.K.Census, held on Sunday, 2 April 1911, Sam was recorded as the Head of the Household at Marchington, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, also in the Household were Ada Askey and May Askey,
     the listing for the Household is -

          ; Ada Askey     Wife     26     Married 3 years, Children (1) (1) (0),     ---     STS. Hanbury.3

     Sam Askey, son of Isaac Askey, died in 1959 in Staffordshire, his Death was Registered at the Burton Register Office in the Oct-Nov-Dec Quarter of 1959, He was survived by his wife, Ada.4 Sam Askey was buried in the Methodist Chapel Burial Ground, Hanbury, Staffordshire, in 1959.
