     William Bull, son of William Bull and Ann Kirkland, died on Tuesday, 30 December 1924, in Grove Road Crossing, Retford, Nottinghamshire,"of a Cerebral haemorrage and Syncope. A newspaper report exists stating that a train was delayed due to this happening", he was survived by his wife Frances Mary Bull.2 William Bull was buried on 1 January 1925 in The Churchyard, Ordsall, Nottinghamshire.2

     The details from the Birth Certificate are - # 310 - Zilpah, Girl, daughter of John Bull, Farm Labourer and Sarah Bull - formerly Malbourn. Informant x the mark of Sarah Bull of Keeper's Lodge. Regd. on 29 September 1866.1      Zilpah was baptised on 11 November 1866 in St. Andrew's Church, Cubley, Derbyshire.
     "Derived from I.G.I. where she is stated to be 'daughter of John Bull and Sarah' and from BT's where she is stated to be daughter of John & Sarah Bull, both of Cubley."2,3

     The three children of John Bull and Sarah Bull nee Malbourn were placed in the Union Workhouse following the Death of their parents in April and May of 1870.
