     St. Peter's Church Marriage Register - "Annie Tipper, a Spinster of Full Age, of Eagle Street, Derby, the daughter of John Tipper, a Farmer was Married to John Cox, a Bachelor of Full Age, a Blacksmith of Eagle Street, Derby, son of William Walter Cox. She signed and he marked."1,2

     John Cox died between 1862 and 1865,"his wife, Ann, remarried in Q4 1865", he was survived by his wife Ann Cox.3

     John Cox was left a Widower on the Death of his wife, Ann, whose Death was Registered in the Lichfield Registration District, in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1869.4
