     Alice's entry for the U.K. 1939 Registration for England & Wales was recorded as -
          Alice J. Wheeler;     DoB - 24 July 1882     Female;     Unpaid Domestic Duties     Married.⁸

     Alice Jane Wheeler was left a Widow on the Death of her husband, Edward, whose Death was Registered in the Burton on Trent Registration District, in the Oct-Nov-Dec Quarter of 1952.⁹

     Alice Jane Wheeler, daughter of James Millward and Jane Holloway, died in 1970 in Staffordshire, her Death was Registered at the Burton on Trent Register Office in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1970.¹⁰
