     Whilst it is recorded that James is Married, his wife is 'not at home'. I have searched the 1901 Census and can only find one entry that might apply and that one shows a Mary Ann BULL of the correct age and origin, in Hospital in Lambeth Infirmary, London. I think that this ought to be investigated.13


     James is recorded as living alone on the U.K.Census of 2 April 1911 at West View, Ambler Thorn, Halifax, Yorkshire. This Census included James, as the only resident in the Household, as follows:
          James Bull     Head     67     Married 46 years     Chimney Sweep     DBY. Derby.14

     James Bull was left a Widower on the Death of his wife, Martha, whose Death was Registered in the Halifax Registration District, in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1916.15

     James Bull was married to Louisa Petty on Monday, 1 July 1918 at Holy Trinity Church, Queensbury, Yorkshire.16

     James Bull, son of Henry Bull and Eliza Laban, died in 1924 in Halifax, Yorkshire, his Death was Registered at the Halifax Register Office in the Jan-Feb-Mar Quarter of 1924.17
