     John Bagshaw was one of 7 children of Isaac Bagshaw, a Builder of Marchington and Sarah Bagshaw, his wife. John appears on the 1851 & 1861 Censuses in Marchington with his parents and siblings.
After his Marriage, he and his family remained in Marchington, where he was a Butcher and Grocer. Following his Death, his wife Eliza moved to Draycott in the Clay together with 6 of her children.5
