     Mary Spencer Smith and George Smith were 1859 shipping records to New South Wales, Australia again state that Mary's parents are John and Elizabeth and that both were alive and living in Sutton, meaning Sutton-on-the-Hill, Derbyshire, when Mary arrived in Australia.

The Singleton District Pioneer Register records Mary's maiden name as Bull.

Her death certificate claims her father's name was William. Those details are based on her step-father William Bull.

Therefore, this is why this entry refers to Mary's surname as Spencer Allen Bull and only DNA links will lead to more information about her father John Spencer.

Mary is buried with her husband George and son William in the Queen Street Cemetery, Singleton, New South Wales, Australia in 1859.6
