     Louisa's entry for the 1901 Census was recorded as -

     In the 1911 Census of Ireland Louisa was recorded as residing at House 99, Moat Street, Ballycross, Co. Down, Ireland.
     Louisa's listing is -
     Louisa Jane MacGowan Fulton     Visiter     Methodist     Can Read/Write     15     Scholar     Single     South Africa, Jagerstein (in the Household of John Charles MacGowan, aged 71, Clerk of Petty Sessions).3

     Louisa Jane MacGowan Fulton was sent back to the MacGowan family at about the age of 12. She was not the oldest of the daughters. She remained in Ireland, trained as a nurse, married R.B.Thomson (Bertie) and then returned to South Africa after he died.

     Louisa Jane MacGowan Fulton, daughter of John Fulton and Eliza Harper, was married to R. Bertram Thomson about 1920 at Ireland.
