     He was buried at St. Giles Church, Cheadle, Staffordshire, on Friday, 24 November 1741.

     Thomas Tipper, son of Thomas Tipper and Ellen Hanley, died on Friday, 18 June 1880 in "The Dew Drop Inn", 63 Foregate Street, Stafford, Staffordshire, his Death was Registered at the Stafford Register Office in the Apr-May-Jun Quarter of 1880, He was survived by his wife, Sarah.9

     Probate for Thomas's Estate was granted on 23 July 1880 at Lichfield.
     Probate Register Entry - " Personal Estate under £300.
The Will of Thomas Tipper, late of the "Dew Drop Inn", Foregate Street, Stafford in the County of Stafford, Blacksmith and Beerhouse Keeper who died 18 June 1880 at the "Dew Drop" was proved at Lichfield by Sarah Tipper of the "Dew Drop Inn" Widow the Relict. Edward Keates of 8 Water Street off Mill Street, Stafford, Grocer and John Hillman of Crooked Bridge Road, Stafford, Farmer the Executors."10
