     Notes on Ken's obituary:
     The old cross-country skier, ferrier, fire fighter, fisherman, guide outfitter, horse doctor, hunter, packer, teamster, wrangler - and "the best boilermaker in the country". He worked for Cominco. Ken was the last survivor of the Tipper family hailing from Yahk, British Columbia - he was the youngest of 7 children.1

     Ellen Axelia Holmstedt was married to Philip John Tipper, son of John Thomas Tipper and Ellen Elizabeth Compton, on Monday, 17 December 1945 at Buchanan, Saskatchewan, Canada.1
     

     Ellen Axelia Tipper died on Wednesday, 3 May 1989, in Creston, British Columbia, Canada,"from a Cadio-Pulmonary Arrest", she was survived by her husband Philip John Tipper.1
