     Thomas Bull was left a Widower at the age of 34, on the death of his wife, Mary on 29 April 1867 in Moor Lane, Worsley, Lancashire.^7,8

     On 31 October 1869, in Ecclesfield, (a village in the City of Sheffield), Thomas raped a 9 year old girl named Mary Ann Hardy. A warrant for his arrest was issued on November 9th and he was arrested November 10th. He was convicted at Leeds Assizes on 30 November 1869 and sentenced to 10 years in prison. He served his time in Leeds and Pentonville before being transferred to Portsmouth 18 August 1870.⁹

     The Death details above are not yet confirmed as being applicable to this Mary Bull. However, the 1871 Census shows a Thomas Bull, Widower, so it may be correct.
     The information on the Death Certificate, whilst it must be as given on Registering the Death, I believe that the name John Bull as Spouse IS INCORRECT. I do not know who the informant actually is it could be that the Informant was not in possession of the facts.⁹

     Ethel Rose Bull, daughter of William Bull and Charlotte Bilson, was married to Thomas Hayes in Derby, Derbyshire, in 1913.
     Their Marriage was recorded in the Derby Registration District in the Apr-May-Jun Qtr. of 1913.⁶

     Lilly Ethel Bull, daughter of Eliza Ann Bull, was born in Derby, Derbyshire, on Sunday, 3 September 1899, her Birth was Registered at the Derby Register Office in the Oct-Nov-Dec Qtr. of 1899.¹

     John Meacham, son of Richard Meacham and Hannah Hill, was born around 1830.

     John Meacham, son of Richard Meacham and Hannah Hill, died in 1868 in Derbyshire, his Death was Registered at the Ashbourne Register Office in the Oct-Nov-Dec Quarter of 1868, He was survived by his wife, Hannah.⁴
