     Mary Tipper was a Beneficiary of the Will of Richard Tipper written on 5 December 1737;      Richard Tipper, Husbandman of Cheadle wrote this Will and signed with his mark. (Executors were William Tipper and John Holmes).
     He bequethed as follows:
- "to my son William and my daughter Elizabeth - enough to make them up with what I have already given them to the value of £10 equally apiece";
- "to my son Daniel - the money due upon Mr Challoner's Bond";
- "to my son Richard, possession of the house, paying £5 to the estate a year after his mother Mary's death";
- "to my dearly beloved wife Mary, the use of the house and chattels for life";
- "the residue of the estate to be divided equally between my son William Tipper, my daughter Elizabeth Chapman, my son Daniel Tipper and George Baddeley's daughter Mary".2
