     Cemetery Register Entry - sadly, Elizabeth Tipper of Hanbury was buried four days before the baptism of their youngest child, Mary, who herself died a few weks later. A Rolleston burial fits Elizabeth's birthplace and her death may have been in childbirth, Joseph was left with three young daughters to bring up.⁴ Joseph Tipper objected to the publication of marriage banns of James Mosedale and Elizabeth Tipper in July 1789 in St. Werburgh's Church, Hanbury, Staffordshire; "stopped by the girl's father she being a minor" - according to the Vicar's notes - but this Elizabeth is 30 by then??⁵
