Harry Tipper has not been located in the UK Census of 2 April 1911
As no Passenger List Entry nor 1911 UK Census record for Harry Tipper have been found, the assumption has been made that he might have been living/working overseas or perhaps serving in the Military.8

In between 1914 and 1920 Harry Tipper possibly served as a Private in the East Yorkshire Regiment, Service #225691 and in the North Staffs (Prince of Wales's) Regiment, Service #43376. (Details taken from Military Medal Awards in WWI.)9
