     I have not been able to locate Mary Ann on any Census before 1891, nor any Marriage to a McNichols. Her Birth date is satisfactory only for her 1891 Census entry but elsewhere is 'variable.⁶'

     Anne Lowell was born in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, in 1830.


     Anne Lowell was married to Thomas Tipper, son of George Tipper and Mary Howett, on Saturday, 27 August 1864 at St. Michael's Church, Rocester, Staffordshire.
