Needham family residences and inheritances are of interest.
1875 Luke married Harriett. Both gave residence as "Nuns Street", not necessarily the same house. Margaret Clark (his aunt) was a witness.
1876 Sarah born at 49 Nun's Street but Luke's address is 3 Noel Street.
1881 Thomas lives at 49 Nuns Street; Luke lives next door at 48 Nuns Street.
1894 Sarah married from 83 Upper Arthur Street - her grandfather's home?
When the children died in 1893 & 1897, his address was 22 Nuns Street.
1899 Golden Wedding Invitations sent from 83 Upper Arthur Street; Luke is "the General Manager".
1901 Census, Luke now living at 138 Nuns Street.
W.H.Selby & Sarah living at 7 North Parade maybe some house moving here; Florence & Martha were enumerated at 7 North Parade.
1901 Thomas dies at 7 North Parade (living wth Sarah) - leaves a very large estate (13 year's income) to Luke at 138 Nuns Street.
1904 National Telephone Company Directory July 1904, page 337 dial 60y for Needham L., Engineer, Nuns Foundry.
1919 Luke dies at 93 Ashbourne Road (living with Martha & Frederick Herp); leaves 3 year's income to Harriett.
1925 Harriett dies (at 99 Ashbourne Road??), leaving 4 year's income to be divided among her seven surviving children (Sarah is dead)."11
