     Jonah Bull, son of Charles Bull and Sarah Deborah Murfin, died on Thursday, 4 March 1920, in St. Luke's Hospital for the Dying, 14, Pembridge Square, Kensington, London, he was survived by his wife Sarah Bull nee Dukes.
     Obituary was printed in May 1920; Jonah Bull died of cancer of the pancreas on 4 March 1920, aged 64. The records of the London City Mission record that he died in the Mildmay Hospital in east London, although his death certificate clearly states that he died in St. Luke’s House.

The London City Missionary Magazine of May 1920 included an obituary of Jonah Bull. It reported ‘Jonah Bull was accepted for service in 1887, and successively occupied seven districts, doing his best work (judging by visible results) among the salesmen and porters in Billingsgate Fish Market, where, since 1906, he waged a good warfare for the Lord. A typical Midlander, prayerful and persevering in his methods, he preached the Word (of which he was a diligent student) in season and out, and wrought much good, both in visitation and through the various services he conducted in connection with the Billingsgate Christian Mission. He passed away on March 4th, after a painful illness lasting sixteen months, in his sixty-fifth year’.
